Taco Bell Unrolled CrunchWrapping Paper

Taco Bell took its fan-favorite Cruchnwrap Supreme and turned it into a unique way for fans to promote their love for the menu item during the holiday season. For a limited time, the Mexican-inspired franchise offered CrunchWrapping paper so fans could wrap their gifts in deliciousness. Each set of CrunchWrapping paper came with five sheets of wrapping paper representing the Crunchwrap’s five layers, including tortilla, lettuce and tomatoes, crunchy tostada, nacho cheese, and seasoned beef. The CrunchWrapping paper was available to customers through Amazon.ca until December 16 or until supplies ran out.

Sandlers’ Little Helper Brought Holiday Cheer to KFC

KFC Canada held a new holiday promotion especially for fans of the fried chicken franchise’s iconic mascot, Colonel Sanders. The quick-service franchise system, which has more than 600 locations across Canada, offered customers the chance to win a Sanders’ Little Helper, a pint-sized Elf-on-the-Shelf-style doll in the likeness of the franchise’s founder Colonel Harland Sanders. The brand hopes this twist on a classic holiday tradition inspires customers to have some real fun during the holiday season. Customers entered for the chance to win the figure along with a $150 KFC gift card by leaving a comment on the brand’s social media pages.

KFC Sold a Log That Smelled Like Fried Chicken

Full of festive cheer, KFC also kicked off the holiday season with a log that smells like fried chicken. When lit, the one-of-a-kind KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog smelled like the unmistakable aroma of the franchise’s secret recipe for its famous fried chicken. Customers could purchase a log for themselves or as a gift from KFCFirelogs.com for $18.99 each. Fans of the fried chicken franchise were able to bring their friends and family around the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog to enjoy the holiday season together in mouth-watering merriment.

Pizza Nova Celebrated the Holidays With Fundraising

Pizza Nova, the Ontario-based pizzeria franchise, marked the “12 Days of Christmas” over the holidays by giving back to local communities. Franchises in seven cities across the province joined in the giving spirit by raising money for charities and local organizations for 12-day periods leading up to Christmas. $1 from every order at the participating locations was donated to local groups. Participating cities included Hamilton, Waterloo, Cambridge, Kitchener, Peterborough, Lindsay, and Orillia. During the campaign, Pizza Nova London donated $1,894 to the Sunshine Foundation of Canada, while Orillia raised $1,191 for Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Orillia and District. Meanwhile, franchises in Belleville and Guelph held charity days with proceeds being donated to local BBBS chapters, with each location raising more than $2,000 for the organization.
